Emergency Services

Find a doctor

One thing that may stop people with certain conditions from travelling is being unable to find a suitable doctor.

Health Engine offers a search function that can help you find a general practitioner, specialist or hospital nearest to your Australian destination.

Emergency services

Whether it’s a bump on the head or a serious car accident, getting in touch with family is key for the emergency services.

I.C.E. is an initiative by the emergency services which encourages people to store a contact number in their mobile phone that can be used, in case of emergency.  By simply storing the number of a person who can be contacted should you be involved in an incident or accident, under ICE in your contact list, the emergency services can quickly get in touch and advise what’s happened and get relevant medical history.

No-one ever wants to be in an accident but getting the right help quickly can lessen the effect.
